The Academy of Indian Music (AIM) was started with a belief that even in a foreign country, there should be a place where Indian cultural art forms (music, dance, yoga and others) can be taught in their purest form. Its an idea 17 years in the making.
Today, Academy of Indian Music (AIM) can truly be called a ‘Temple of Learning’ – a place where both the teacher and the taught hold (music, dance and other art forms) in reverence. Its a place where every moment leads to the awareness and appreciation of Indian music and other Indian art forms – may it be a ‘thaat’ in classical Indian music, a ‘mudra’ in classical dance or perhaps an ‘asana’ in yoga! If you have come here, seeking to learn pure Indian music, we hope this is the place you will find it. Because, as a school, we are dedicated to supporting the artistic development of the community through our well chalked-out programs.
